I Have a pretty good amount going on right now, plenty to write about, and enough time to do it.... It Pays To "Like"

Today's band, Sons Of Sylvia, was found on accident :) So on my Facebook I like a bazillion different music record labels [Universal, Atlantic, Fearless, Downtown, etc.] and they have every once & a while, a free song or two that you can download. ZZZZZzzZZZzzzzz........

I am so tired today! Last night I went to this awesome youth dance, that didn't end till 10:00 PM. Not too bad... Unless, of course, you have an hour & a half drive home. :) But it was totally worth it! Here's a picture of a few of my friends spelling out the YMCA [Which is now just the 'Y' cause they took out the Christian] :( Anyways, We still had massive fun!

Yay Oh Yay!!!

So this past Thursday my new iPod came!! Isn't she for presh? :) As you cane see, my iPod is Very grateful to be matched with me. :) After my last one was stolen [Cause someone snuck into the dorm room I was staying in at a youth religious thing] My awesome, incredible, caring, family put together a David's iPod Fund jar. It was so unexpected that it still makes feel so indebted to them. It's an orange, 16 GB, current gen. nano, and I Love It! Just goes to show that the people that care about you will always be there to help. Even when it's not expected :)

Foraging For Breakfast

Today being Foodie Friday and all, I decided I'd make a nice looking breakfast. [tastes pretty good too!] I had to get creative cause we had company last weekend. Meaning, lots of leftovers. So I used leftover tortilla shells [Skins? wraps?] & some Baked Potatoes. :) It was pretty delish. I'm not very good with making eggs tho. I'll figure it out one day tho!!!

I Dream Of Ice Cream

I love ice cream so much!! I don't care on the flavor. This picture basically sums up my feelings toward this awesome summer treat. It reminds me of that scene from Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs Ahhh... Such a delicious anytime treat. :) I think one of the reasons for this tasty addiction [Besides the obvious] is the fact that my Mom is Lactose Intolerant. Basically the worst allergy thing EVER. I mean, no dairy? Inconceivable!! Thankfully, I don't think I'll be catching that. [Shivers] I think I might celebrate my luck by having a secret bowl of it later.

Wednesday & 'Wind'sday

Not much going on today. I've decided I like Windsdays, but not Wednesdays. So if you ever heard me shouting "Oh Glorious Windsday!!" do not mistake the two. Especially since I rarely get one around here. The closest you get is the occasional breeze. I'm also desperately trying to find a nice color scheme for this hiding blog. I guess the layouts are all scheming against me. [Ha Ha?] Whatever. Just make it through the week :)

Not So Silent ASL

This post is actually a little more serious. [Be shocked!!] About 7 months ago I found this awesome youtube channel called “xCrippledHope”, but I forgot all about it till recently. This guy [Blake] covers a lot of different songs in Sign Language!! I love ASL [American Sign Language] SOOOO much. I don’t know much of it, and what I do know I can’t do it quite right, but I just think it’s so nice! As far as Blake goes, he’s not completely deaf, but his family is. I’m not exactly sure why he started doing these music covers but I’m glad he does! Out of all the songs he’s done, I think my favorite is Wake Me Up, When September Ends by Green Day. I think it’s mostly my fav cause it’s the first of his covers that I saw. [I almost said ‘heard’ whoops!!] I hope one of these days I can at least carry a small conversation in ASL. One can hope [and practice] right?? :)

Music Monday, Free On iTunes

So I thought I'd spice it up a tad? So instead of just recommending amazing, inspirational, fantastical artists, I decided to put down a magical place where you can get music for free! [Legally, Of Course] For this one you’ll need a Facebook account, and an iTunes account. They have an app called Free On iTunes on Facebook that gives codes you can type on iTunes for FREE music playlists. They currently have four playlists you can get codes for. It explains pretty well on the site how to redeem these codes. The music is usually from new bands, but hey, it’s free!! My 16GB iPod was recently stolen :’( Thankfully, I have an older 8GB ipod. [Take THAT thief!!!] It really stinks. I Have a new one coming though! [another 16GB] I can’t wait!!! It should be here by next Monday.
