Fill Your Board!

Today is Sunday so we usually don’t do much in the excitement department. Each Day one member of our family has a the responsibility to make sure that we read the scriptures. Sunday happens to be my Dad’s day. He likes to linger on his day for hours on end. Which isn’t bad or anything. Today he had the idea that we write down on our dry erase board everything we could think of that pertains to the scriptures. As you can see it’s a pretty lengthy list. Part of what struck him to do this, was a few thanksgivings back, we wrote on that board all the things we are thankful for. As the list got longer and longer we had to write smaller and smaller. The more that I think about that lesson it made me think that the board could be likened to our lives and how we need to constantly add to your board (With good things of course) as you do, you’ll need to make your board bigger and bigger which is likened to your growth both physically and spiritually. Now IYF! I shall use an off-beat IYF for today. I’m so glad I’m not OLD. Not like adult old, but like “your so old your counting months instead of years till your dead.” No offense oldies, but it sounds like a drag being old. But I guess that’s cause of how people live now and days. People don’t take care of themselves like they used to. Like in the Bible some of them lived for hundreds of YEARS. Ugh, I think if I lived that long I would DIE. Ha, small joke......... so, In Your Face Goldie oldies!  I’m YOUNG. Buh-Bye!
