Today (last night really) we made solar ovens out of pizza boxes, tin foil, black construction paper, and a page protector. It’s pretty easy. The hardest part is explaining it to others cause they always give you a weird stare likethey thought you were crazy for trying such a thing. We’re making s’mores in them right now. It’s taking a long time ( an hour and a half) but you can put other things like hot dogs and frozen food. It seems to be working so that in itself is an accomplishment. Now (as you can guess) it’s my daily....... IYF Moment! Today’s IYF is that I get to wait around for hours to eat one s’more, while everyone else can just make one in the microwave in 15 seconds! (No sarcasm intended) so I get to learn patience and appreciation for the food I get. So In Your Face! See ya!

I'm not sure how this IYF moment is growing on me. I'm reminded of one YM who cautioned me about sarcasm. But it must be a trend in the world, because a female, Navy type, said she had an IYF moment the other day. S'mores are to be appreciated. If you think about it from the perspective that you don't eat them very often, you've really been waiting longer. So, I haven't had them since the campout... So, in essence to your hour and a half for smore wait... I've waited since May-A little (s)more time. ha ha.
Great oven sonny. I wonder if you could cook this hot dog in it?
